Bandits "with two guns that appeared to have been AK47s" Arrested (Australia)

*Aussie Gun-Haters are illogical*
Wait, what?. Guns are banned in Australia, so where did these alleged "AK-47's" come from?. Oh, yes, forgot that criminals will always obtain guns, even when the good guys have been disarmed into helpless victims...Oh, that's right, these Bandits have done no less than 13 armed robberies with total impunity since no one armed was there to stop them, but the cretins who disarmed Australia said the ban would solve this problem. Guess what: they LIED and will continue to do so to keep the sheeple under their spell, no matter what. They are friends of the violent criminals, not the law-abiding, who they turned into criminals at the stroke of a pen. Cowardly tyrants, just like the cowardly armed Bandits pushing around people at the point of a gun, they have a lot in common... (S9)

A 17-year-old boy is among three alleged thieves arrested over an armed hold-up at a Brisbane hotel where staff and patrons were held at gunpoint...Police allege the group has also been responsible for a string of other violent robberies across Brisbane over the past five months.
On Wednesday, the trio allegedly stormed The Rocklea Hotel on Ipswich Road armed with two guns that appeared to have been AK47s about 10pm.  Staff and three patrons were held hostage in the bistro, while the men cleared about $30,000 from the hotel’s registers and safe...

Semi-Automatic Love: NSSF releases ‘Modern Sporting Rifle’ consumer report – They’re popular

The most popular rifle in the USA is the same that tyrannical politicians and their mindless minions LIE about, relentlessly seek to BAN and CONFISCATE (Witness the recent California debacle!). Now do you seriously think that is a coincidence?. Have you thought about WHY that is?. It is way past time that you did, Victim... (S9)

It’s not just ARs, but AKs and countless other models of rifles patterned off military designs but made for the commercial market are guaranteed best-sellers. The National Shooting Sports Foundation, or NSSF, calls them “Modern Sporting Rifles,” an increasingly-popular moniker for these guns, or just MSRs. They have been tracking sales and ownership of MSRs since 2010 and news flash, they’re popular...The AR is king of the MSR market, with an 82 percent share, although anyone who owns at least four MSRs is likely to own at least one AK. Variety being the spice of life, after all.
The survey found that MSR owners tend to be more active shooters than people who don’t own these rifles, with a majority of owners being routine target shooters (92 percent) and half active hunters (50 percent) — contrary to the notion that these guns are not good for hunting — and 19 percent of those surveyed were competition shooters. In short, the “black rifle” crowd is one of the most active and engaged portion of shooters... the data is clear: keep making ARs and AKs, and if you’re not, you’re missing out on one of the most active segments of the firearms market.
